The official trailer for one of the best movies ever! Ghost is a 1990 fantasy drama film starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Tony Goldwyn and Whoopi Goldberg, written by Bruce Joel Rubin and directed by Jerry Zucker. It was nominated for multiple Academy Awards, including Best Picture, winning for Best Original Screenplay, as well as Best Supporting Actress for Whoopi Goldberg. It inspired a musical stage version which will open in the West End in 2010.

I thought you’d be taller…. Patrick Swayze has taken off from the dance floor and his hitting the barrooms, the hard way. He plays Dalton, a legendary cooler who is hired to clean up a bar in the south called The Double Deuce. Trading fist for fist with local drunks gets a little to dangerous when he clashes with the towns local tyrant. It’s up to Dalton, and his aging mentor and cooler, Wade Garret, to clean up the town and take care of business. Panned as one of the worst movies ever, it has a strong cult following, and is one of my personal favorite movies that shows what life was like back in the 80’s.
